Iron Springs Brewery, Fairfax, California - Bathroom Review

Brewery / Restaraunts seem to be more and more prevelant and for good reason. The micro-brewery industry has brought back the craft of beer making and with it there has been many great establishments that mix great beer with great food and Iron Springs Brewery is just one of those locations. I myself don't drink beer (a long story but suffice it to say, the taste has never been my thing) but my father is a great beer fan and loves visiting this establishment.

Stopping into the bathroom I had high hopes that they would carry some uniqueness into it but I was a bit disappointed. The bathroom itself was quite clean and very modern so I'll give them props for that but it just lacked any sort of interesting flair at all. I feel this was a huge wasted oppurtunity to bring in the theme of a modern micro-brewery into the bathroom. Overall, the facility was clean, free of grafitti or vandalism and the design was modern in appearance. I'm going to give this bathroom a solid 4 flush rating.

Taking a break from instruction, I decided to go visit the bathroom. When I walked in, I was thoroughly disappointed with the theme. Essentially it was just a bunch of graffiti and bumper stickers all over the walls. At this point I've seen one other bathroom with graffiti on the walls the Latitude of Oakland however that bathroom was done very tastefully in that it encouraged guests to leave notes but also encouraged them to be respectful of the facilities. The Neck of the Woods bathroom just looked like a Highschool bathroom where vandals had struck and decided to make a mess of it. For a dance club that was trying to give the appearance of being upscale, the bathroom was a huge letdown. The owner should understand that the appearance of thir bathroom is how the guests will treat it. Overall, this bathroom is getting a zero flush rating because even it's attempt to be artistic was a fail in exectution.
