As a private campground, you hope for a certain level of quality, and Base Camp absolutely delivers. The facilities are not just functional; they're thoughtfully designed to be welcoming.
A Restroom That Feels Like Home
The restroom and shower building is a simple, clean structure with a green metal roof and brown siding. Inside, however, is where this facility truly shines. The owners have clearly made an effort to create a space that feels less like a public restroom and more like a guest bathroom in a home.
The entire room is tiled—both the floor and a half-wall wainscot. The upper walls are painted a calm, soft blue, and the room is decorated with "Welcome" signs, shelves with small plants, and even bamboo benches and shower mats. It’s an incredibly smart design choice that makes the space feel comfortable and encourages guests to keep it clean.

Key Features of the Restroom
This facility was spotless. There was no graffiti, no damage, and no litter. The homey touches are backed up by solid, commercial-grade fixtures.
- Excellent Design: The full-tile floor and wainscoting are durable and easy to clean. The decorative touches are a major plus that completely elevates the experience.
- Full Amenities: The restroom includes a flushing toilet, a wall-hung sink, and a clean, fully-tiled shower stall with a fiberglass pan and a fresh curtain.
- Clean & Stocked: All dispensers (soap, toilet paper, paper towels) were fully stocked. The room was visibly clean and well-maintained.
- Vandalism-Free: The welcoming atmosphere, combined with it being a private, guest-only facility, means the space is completely free of graffiti and vandalism.

The Final Verdict: A 5-Star RV Park Restroom
This is a perfect example of a private campground restroom done right. The owners have invested in durable, quality materials (like full tile) and have gone the extra mile to make the space feel like a home, not a sterile box.
It was spotlessly clean, fully functional, and completely graffiti-free. It's a comfortable and reassuring facility that greatly adds to the value of staying at the campground. An easy 5-flush rating.
