Have an idea for a custom product or need one of our existing products modified? This service is your first step toward making it a reality. By purchasing our development service, you are funding the dedicated engineering time required to turn your concept into a manufacturable product.
How The Process Works
After you purchase the appropriate service, our expert CAD designer will contact you directly via email. Please note, design work will only commence after payment has been completed. We will then work with you to refine your design. Once it is approved, we will provide a separate quote for the physical product and add it to our website for you to order.
Communication & Timelines
All project communication will be handled directly with our CAD expert via email. While we strive to answer all questions and inquiries within 24 hours (Monday-Friday), please note that the actual development work is scheduled based on our designer's availability and the project's complexity. The design process can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, and we appreciate your understanding that timelines may vary.

For New Products (From Scratch)
1. Start with: "New Product: Starter Block (4 Hours)"
This is the required first step for designing a new product from the ground up. This block covers the foundational design work for your concept.
2. To add more time: "Project Continuation (1 Hour)"
If your project requires more than the initial 4 hours, use this option to add development time in 1-hour increments.
For Custom Mirror Requests
For a custom-sized mirror: If you need one of our existing mirror designs in a custom size, please contact us directly. We will provide this modification at no cost to you.
For a custom-shaped mirror: If you want a new, unique mirror shape, please select the "Custom Mirror: Shape Design (2 Hours)" option to start the design process. This covers the initial 2 hours of design work.
For Modifying Other Existing Products
First, please contact us directly with your modification request. We will review your idea for its potential appeal to our wider customer base.
- If we determine the modification would be a valuable addition to our standard product line, we may choose to absorb the design costs. We will notify you and proceed with the work at no charge to you.
- If the modification is specific to your unique needs, we will direct you back to this page to officially start the project by purchasing the "Modification: Starter Block (2 Hours)."
To add more time to a modification project you have paid for, select the "Project Continuation (1 Hour)" option.
Design Ownership & Rights
This development service is offered at a discounted rate. In exchange for this rate, Vandal Stop retains all intellectual property rights to any resulting designs. We reserve the right to use, market, and sell the product or any derivations of it. By purchasing this service, you agree to these terms.
Should you require a design for which you retain exclusive ownership rights, please do not purchase this service. Instead, contact us directly to discuss a separate development agreement.
Important Information
