This replacement sacrificial plexi-glass sheet fits our line of Vandal Proof Mirrors. Typically used in secure facilities, gas stations in high abuse areas as well as beach restrooms and other high traffic areas subject to abuse.

- Local Sourcing Encouraged: We offer these replacement panels directly as a convenience to our customers. However, due to the high costs associated with shipping flat sheet material, you are welcome to source standard polycarbonate locally (such as from a local glass shop, hardware store, or plastics distributor). Customers typically find local sourcing to be substantially cheaper by eliminating shipping fees.

Graffiti / Scratch Removal & Replacement
Before replacing your sacrificial layer, note that minor scratches on the polycarbonate can often be repaired using a heat gun, a straightforward process demonstrated in the video below. However, in cases where the polycarbonate layer sustains deep scratches or severe graffiti that is beyond repair, simply swap in this replacement sheet.
Installation & Maintenance Instructions
To replace the layer, remove the tamper-proof security nuts and fasteners securing the mirror to the wall. Take off the damaged polycarbonate sheet, ensure the stainless steel reflective surface underneath is completely clean and dry, and align the new replacement sheet over the mounting holes. Securely reattach the mirror to the wall.
- Use a Mild Cleaner: Clean the new polycarbonate surface with a non-abrasive cleaner (like Windex) and a soft microfiber cloth.
- Dry Thoroughly: Any moisture trapped between the replacement layer and the stainless steel mirror can cause condensation or mold growth. Ensure both pieces are fully dry before tightening the fasteners.
