Product Overview
The AA-EB-2G-PL is a high-security, surface-mounted lock box designed to safeguard double-gang electrical outlets in public, commercial, and military-grade settings. Fabricated from heavy-duty 12-gauge stainless steel, this box resists prying, impacts, corrosion, and unauthorized access. It features a concealed padlock shroud for added security against tampering tools and weather, and accommodates both ½” and ¾” conduit through rear and bottom ports. Designed to replace the older AA-EB-4R, this improved version includes a removable backplate for recessed or surface mounting and enhanced service access.
Note 1: Keyed-alike padlock is optional.
Note 2: Receptacle outlet is not included with the housing.
UL Certification & Code Compliance
Our heavy-duty enclosures are engineered strictly as secondary architectural physical security hardware. The AA-EB-2G-PL does not house electrical wiring; it is designed to be mounted directly to the structural wall over your existing, fully compliant, UL-listed electrical box and its associated UL-listed cover. Because our product operates entirely outside the electrical system, it does not require an independent UL electrical listing. To comply with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) bonding requirements (such as NEC 250), the stainless steel enclosure can be readily bonded to the equipment grounding conductor by your installing electrician.

Material & Warranty Options
Available in 12-gauge 304L stainless steel for standard use, or 12-gauge 316L stainless steel for maritime and saltwater environments. Both feature a Stainless Steel Satin #4 finish for corrosion resistance and a clean professional appearance. When properly installed and locked, this unit is fully backed by our Anti-Vandalism Warranty (protects against prying by hand/body and heavy impact). Installation Guidance
Mounts via 3/8” anchor holes (hardware not included). Back bracing of ¾” or greater is recommended for maximum strength. Through-bolting or T-nuts may be required on partitions. The removable backplate supports surface or recessed mounting options.
Specification Guide
Security Box shall be constructed with 12 gauge 304L or 12 gauge 316L Stainless Steel joined /w TIG welds and edges de-burred. Security Box shall not be cross-metal contaminated during manufacturing construction. Security Box shall provide protective cover against drip and spray. Security Box shall be secured with Padlock. Security Box shall have 3⁄8” mounting holes. Security Box shall accommodate standard electrical outlet styles. 12 Gauge models shall include an Anti-Vandalism Warranty when properly installed and locked while in service. 316L SS shall be used for US Navy maritime use or if exposure to salt water is prevalent.
