The AA-EB-ST1 is a rugged, tamper-resistant lock box designed to safeguard outdoor irrigation controllers and sprinkler timers from vandalism, weather exposure, theft, and unauthorized access. Constructed from heavy-duty 12-gauge stainless steel and secured with a protective padlock shroud, this enclosure is engineered for institutional-grade security. Its removable backplate allows for both recessed and surface-mounted installations, making it an ideal solution for municipal parks, educational campuses, and facility maintenance teams seeking versatile irrigation protection.

UL Certification & Code Compliance
Our heavy-duty enclosures are engineered strictly as secondary architectural physical security hardware. The AA-EB-ST1 does not house electrical wiring directly; it is designed to be mounted to the structural wall over your existing, fully compliant, UL-listed electrical box or timer and its associated UL-listed cover. Because our product operates entirely outside the primary electrical system, it does not require an independent UL electrical listing. To comply with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) bonding requirements (such as NEC 250), the stainless steel enclosure can be readily bonded to the equipment grounding conductor by your installing electrician.

Material & Warranty Options
Available in 12-gauge 304L stainless steel for standard use, or 12-gauge 316L stainless steel (recommended for saltwater or coastal applications). All models feature a corrosion-resistant Satin #4 brushed stainless steel finish for a clean, professional look in outdoor environments. When properly installed and locked, this unit is fully backed by our Anti-Vandalism Warranty (protects against prying by hand/body and heavy impact). Installation Guidance
Secure fixture to the wall using four appropriate 3⁄8” stainless steel anchoring bolts (not provided) for optimal installation strength. We recommend ¾” or thicker back bracing for walls where possible. For partition walls or exposed installations, T-nuts or equivalent secure anchors are recommended. For optimal strength, units may be through-bolted back-to-back. Proper locking and anchoring are required for warranty eligibility.
Specification Guide
Sprinkler Timer Lock Box shall be constructed with American made, 12 gauge 304L or 12 gauge 316L Stainless Steel joined /w TIG welds and edges de-burred. Sprinkler Timer Lock Box shall not be cross-metal contaminated during manufacturing construction. Sprinkler Timer Lock Box housing shall provide protective cover against drip and spray. Protective shroud adds security for padlock. Sprinkler Timer Lock Box shall have 3⁄8” mounting holes. Sprinkler Timer Lock Box shall accommodate standard size sprinkler timers. 12 Gauge models shall include an Anti-Vandalism Warranty when properly installed and locked while in service. 316L SS shall be used for US Navy maritime use or if exposure to salt water is prevalent.
