Product Overview
The AA-EB-4R is a legacy, surface-mounted enclosure built specifically to protect double-gang duplex electrical outlets from tampering, theft, and environmental damage. Crafted from heavy-duty 12-gauge stainless steel and equipped with a padlock-ready shroud, this vandal-resistant outlet box is ideal for correctional facilities, transit platforms, parks, schools, and public utility installations. The removable backplate, spray-deflective design, and dual conduit access (bottom and rear) ensure flexible installation while maintaining total enclosure security.

UL Certification & Code Compliance
Our heavy-duty enclosures are engineered strictly as secondary architectural physical security hardware. The AA-EB-4R does not house electrical wiring; it is designed to be mounted directly to the structural wall over your existing, fully compliant, UL-listed electrical box and its associated UL-listed cover. Because our product operates entirely outside the electrical system, it does not require an independent UL electrical listing. To comply with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) bonding requirements (such as NEC 250), the stainless steel enclosure can be readily bonded to the equipment grounding conductor by your installing electrician.

Available in 12-gauge 304L stainless steel for general use or 12-gauge 316L for salt-exposed or marine environments. The Satin #4 brushed finish resists corrosion and supports long-term durability even in harsh conditions. Installation Guidance
Use 3/8” stainless steel anchors (not included) for surface mounting. Back bracing of at least ¾” is recommended. For partitions or thin walls, T-nuts or other secure fasteners should be used. When possible, back-to-back installations should be through-bolted for maximum structural integrity.
Specification Guide
Security Box shall be constructed with 12 gauge 304L or 12 gauge 316L Stainless Steel joined /w TIG welds and edges de-burred. Security Box shall not be cross-metal contaminated during manufacturing construction. Security Box shall provide protective cover against drip and spray. Protective shroud adds security for padlock. Security Box shall have 3⁄8” mounting holes. Security Box shall accommodate standard electrical outlet styles. 12 Gauge models shall include an Anti-Vandalism Warranty when properly installed and locked while in service. 316L SS shall be used for US Navy maritime use or if exposure to salt water is prevalent.
